Payment of fees by credit card

Applicants can pay the visa fee directly online by credit card. The amount is expressed in dollars, but will be automatically converted into your local currency by your bank.

Payment of fees by bank transfer

Applicants can also pay the visa fee by bank transfer. Fees are quoted in dollars and several other local currencies. The exchange rate used is set by the US State Department.

Payment by deposit slip

Applicants may also pay the visa fee in cash. You must make a monetary deposit in a bank accredited by the USA. In exchange, he will receive a deposit slip as proof of payment of the fee.

Reimbursement of fees paid in the event of visa refusal

No refund of visa fees paid is possible, regardless of the outcome of the application.

Payment of the fee is not transferable to another applicant for another B2 visa application. It cannot be used or transferred for another visa application.

If you do not use the receipt for 1 year, the fees paid are lost. You will no longer be able to use the receipt to justify payment of the fee, and you will not be able to obtain a visa appointment at the embassy with this invalid receipt. Your initial unused payment will be cancelled. The payment of this fee will be non-refundable for any reason.

Visa fee payment validity period

The candidate receives a numbered receipt when the fee is paid. This payment certificate is valid for 1 year. The applicant must therefore make an appointment at the American embassy for an interview within the 1-year validity period of the payment.
